A monthly beginner-friendly run club session with an easy-pace jog through the city centre, finishing with a vegan hot drink and samples at Lush.
Lush Glasgow City is hosting its monthly run club on Sunday 18 October, from 10:30 to 11:30. It's a short, easy-pace jog through the city centre, designed for people new to running or anyone looking to meet some local running friends. The distance builds across the year, growing from 3K in January to 5K by June, so it's a gentle way to get into it rather than throwing yourself into the deep end.
The run starts and finishes at the store, and it's led by a First Aid trained runner, which is a nice bit of cover to have when you're out on the streets. You wear your own athleisure, and the whole thing is open to over-18s. The ticket is £5 and covers the run, a vegan hot drink from the Lush Cafe, and two Lush samples. You book it through the experiences tab of the Lush App.

The venue itself is Lush Glasgow City at 98 Buchanan Street, Scotland's first Lush Anchor store and the brand's flagship on the city's high street. It's been making fresh handmade cosmetics there since 1995, and it's more than just a shop — it houses spa treatments, a shampoo bar, and a vegan coffee shop alongside its programme of events. The run club is one of those monthly sessions they run for the community, with the vegan hot drink and a chat at the end being as much a part of it as the jog itself. It's a low-commitment way to get out for a bit of movement on a Sunday morning.
