Logan Paul Murphy brings his world-class voice and musicianship to a theatre-style celebration of classic music from the 50s, 60s and 70s.
Logan Paul Murphy brings his Legends of the 50s, 60s & 70s show to Cottiers on Friday 5 March, a stripped-back evening of classic music from three decades. It's a theatre-style concert rather than a full band set: Murphy is backed only by a piano and a guitar, and the songs he'll be working through come from the 1950s, 60s and 70s.
If the name isn't familiar, he's a rising UK star who first made a mark on Series 2 of Channel 4's The Piano. He also won Britain's Got Talent, where he walked away with four yeses and a standing ovation at the London Palladium. He's been a regular at the International Beatleweek Festival for six years running, and his Legends show regularly sells out The Cavern Club in Liverpool.
Cottiers is a historic building in the heart of Glasgow's West End, and the theatre inside is a recently renovated space that seats 206, with stained glass and ornate timberwork around the room. The first floor houses a restaurant and bar, which runs a summer terrace barbeque and a candlelit winter fire.
