A month-long exhibition of landscape photography at The Glasgow Gallery of Photography, part of the gallery's 'Season of Photography 2026'.
The Glasgow Gallery of Photography is hosting Landscape: International Photography Exhibition from 4 November to 28 November, a month-long show that brings together landscape work from around the world. It's part of the gallery's 'Season of Photography 2026', a wider celebration of photography across Scotland that runs from 9 September to 20 December, so this is one of several exhibitions you can catch in the city over the autumn.
The curators have framed the show around the idea that landscape photography has the power to inspire awe and transport you to places you might never experience in person. They've hung work by photographers from across the globe alongside Scottish contributors, and the mix is a good one: some are shooting far-off travels, others their own local surroundings. Seeing them side by side is part of the point, putting the familiar right next to the distant.

If you're planning to go, there's an opening event on Saturday 7 November from 12:00 to 16:00, which is a good way to see the show when it's fresh. After that, it stays up until 28 November, so you've got nearly four weeks to fit it in on your own time. Entry is free, and the gallery is at 279-281 High Street in the city centre, G4 0QS. The Glasgow Gallery of Photography opened in 2019 and shows work by both Scottish and international photographers, and it houses a bookshop stocking photography books and prints, so there's a bit more to do there than just look at the walls.
