John Craigie brings his expressive songcraft and stirring vocals to the historic Stereo Cafe Bar in Glasgow City Centre.
John Craigie plays Stereo Cafe Bar on Monday 12 October, with the set starting at 7pm. He's a singer-songwriter whose live shows are described as able to make an audience laugh and cry in the same song, drawing on expressive, stirring songcraft, emotionally charged vocals, lively soundscapes and an uncontainable spirit to rally a closeness around music.
Stereo Cafe Bar is at 20-28 Renfield Lane in Glasgow city centre, a venue that's been trading since 2007 in a building designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh. It's got a dedicated vegan bar and kitchen, with live gigs, performances and clubs running downstairs — and sometimes upstairs — into the early morning. Craigie's show is the main feature of the night, so he's the one you're coming for. If you're planning to eat before or after, the vegan kitchen is right there on site.

It's a Monday night, so it's an early-week gig rather than a weekend one, and the 7pm start means you'll be home at a reasonable hour. Stereo is right in the city centre, so it's easy to get to from anywhere in town. The show is on Monday 12 October at 7pm at Stereo Cafe Bar, 20-28 Renfield Lane, Glasgow G2 6PH.
