Rockgrass band Hayseed Dixie return as part of their 25th Anniversary of Maximum Rockgrass tour.
Hayseed Dixie are back at Saint Luke's and the Winged Ox on Friday 30 October, their Glasgow date forming part of the 25th Anniversary of Maximum Rockgrass tour. It's a bit of a milestone for them, marking a quarter-century since they first put their name to the sound they've built their whole thing around.
If you've not come across them before, they bill themselves as the undisputed creators of 'Rockgrass' — a name that tells you exactly what's on the tin. It's the collision of rock and bluegrass, the high-energy drive of the former meeting the acoustic, string-led tradition of the latter. The Glasgow show is one stop on a tour that's all about that anniversary, so the set will be drawn from the material they've been playing since the Maximum Rockgrass era.

It's a specific kind of gig, and that's the draw. The whole point of Rockgrass is the friction between the two styles, and that's what they'll be leaning into on the night. The Glasgow date falls on a Friday, and the venue is Saint Luke's and the Winged Ox in the East End, so it's a good spot to start your weekend if you're in the city. The show is on Friday 30 October 2026.
