Twirl n Tone Pole Dance Academy presents Gods, Ghouls and Glamour!, featuring pole dance, aerial hoop and chains, fire performers, burlesque, drag, and cabaret.
Twirl n Tone Pole Dance Academy are taking over Saint Luke's and the Winged Ox on Saturday 21 November with Gods, Ghouls and Glamour!, a one-of-a-kind variety showcase. They're the ones putting it on, bringing together some of the best known performers in Scotland.
The title gives you the run of the place. Gods, Ghouls and Glamour! pulls together three distinct moods — the divine, the spooky, and the high-glitz. More than just a pole dance show, the production features aerial hoop and aerial chains, fire performers, burlesque, drag, and cabaret.
Saint Luke's and the Winged Ox is on 17 Bain Street in Glasgow's East End (G40 2JZ). It's a multipurpose music and arts venue, so it's set up for live entertainment like this. There's a trendy bar and restaurant on site, and it's a space that hosts periodic special events alongside its regular bookings, which is exactly what this is — a one-off production brought in for the night.
