London indie-folk duo Flyte bring their harmonies and new music to Cottiers Theatre.
Flyte play Cottiers Theatre on Tuesday 1 December, their first Glasgow date since their fourth album, Between You and Me, came out in August 2025. It's a headlining show, so the set will be theirs to build around.
Flyte is an English indie-folk project started by school friends Will Taylor and Nick Hill in Hackney, London. They've built their name on a few distinct things: intricate four-part vocal harmonies, literary storytelling, and melodic acoustic craft. If you've followed them from the start, you'll recognise that sound. They first broke through with their debut album The Loved Ones in 2017, followed by This Is Really Going To Hurt in 2021. Their third record, a self-titled one in 2023, brought in collaborations with Laura Marling and Bombay Bicycle Club, and Between You and Me is the fourth to follow.
That's a fair amount of material to draw from, and with the new album still relatively fresh, the set should lean on the newer songs while keeping room for the older ones. The harmonies are the thing they're best known for, so that'll be front and centre.
