The musical Everybody's Talking About Jamie returns for its 10th Anniversary Tour, following a record-breaking West End residency and award-winning film.
Everybody's Talking About Jamie comes to King's Theatre from Tuesday 27 April to Saturday 1 May, as part of a UK tour running from 15 January to 24 July 2027. This is the Sheffield Theatres production, directed by Jonathan Butterell, and it's returning for its 10th Anniversary Tour. The Glasgow run is one of several stops on a tour that spans half the year, so you've got a few days to choose from if you're planning to go.
For those who haven't seen it, the story follows Jamie New, a sixteen-year-old living on a council estate in Sheffield, supported by his mum, Margaret. The music comes from Dan Gillespie Sells, lead singer-songwriter of The Feeling, with lyrics by Tom MacRae. The show has a bit of history behind it: a record-breaking three-year West End residency, two sold-out UK and Ireland tours, and an award-winning Amazon Studios film. It also picked up Best New Musical at the WhatsOnStage Awards.
This anniversary tour adds a brand-new song to the score that made it a hit, so even if you've seen it before, there's something new to hear. The cast for this run includes Ashcon Rahmani as Jamie New, Rebecca Trehearn as Margaret, and Kelle Bryan, Joanne Clifton and Divina De Campo as Miss Hedge.
