Inverness post-trad band Cala bring their bold new album to Stereo Cafe Bar as part of their Scottish tour.
Cala play Stereo Cafe Bar on Saturday 30 October, bringing their bold new album to Glasgow as part of a tour across Scottish cities. They're an Inverness post-trad band, so the set will draw on their latest record, which they're taking on the road this autumn.
They describe the tour as eclectic and unapologetic, and the Glasgow date is one stop in a run that takes them through several Scottish cities. The new album is the main thing they're out to play, so it'll be a good chance to hear the material live rather than just on record.
Stereo Cafe Bar has been in its Glasgow city centre home since 2007, in a building designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh. It pairs a dedicated vegan bar and kitchen with downstairs and sometimes upstairs gigs, and live performances and clubs that run through to the early morning. It's at 20-28 Renfield Lane, G2 6PH, right in the city centre.
