Alan Carr returns to the stage with his new show 'Have I Said Too Much', a comedy of oversharing and drama, as part of the Glasgow International Comedy Festival.
Alan Carr is back on stage at the King's Theatre on Tuesday 16 March 2027, with his new show Have I Said Too Much. It's billed as a comedy of oversharing and drama, and the title does most of the heavy lifting there β the whole thing is built around him finally unsealing his lips.
If you've followed his career, you know the territory he works in. He's one of Britain's most successful comedians, with a long list of awards behind him and the Channel 4 chat show Alan Carr: Chatty Man, which ran for years and became one of the country's favourite entertainment shows. The critics have summed him up in a way that fits this show well: The Independent called him a comedian who owns the space he's working in so much he could put a flag up, and the London Evening Standard described him as an absolute natural on stage and a born storyteller. He also made Ents24's top ten hardest-working comedians back in 2015, so he's well-versed in the grind of a touring show.
As for what actually goes into Have I Said Too Much, the set is built from the stories he's been collecting. He talks about dipping back into the dating pool, navigating the green rooms of showbiz, and tales from the Traitors turret. It's the kind of material he's known for β the personal, slightly too-honest anecdotes that lean into the oversharing the title promises.
