Tierhaus Halloween special with Leon Schanzenbach and more at Summerhall in Newington.
Leon Schanzenbach is the main feature of a Halloween special hosted by Tierhaus at Summerhall on Saturday 31 October. It's a late one, starting at 22:00 and running through into Sunday 1 November, so it sits right in the middle of the Halloween weekend rather than the day before.
Schanzenbach takes the lead, with the "+ more" on the bill leaving room for other acts to join him throughout the night. Tierhaus is the name behind the whole thing, and they've framed this one as a Halloween special, which gives you a good idea of the timing and the mood they're going for. It's not a one-off gig that wraps up by midnight; it's a late-night session that carries over into the early hours of Sunday morning.
Summerhall is the venue, located at 1 Summerhall in Newington, Edinburgh, EH9 1PL. If you're coming from the city centre, it's a short trip south to the Newington area, and the building itself is well-known for hosting a wide range of arts and music across its different spaces. The late start means you've got the whole of Saturday evening to get sorted before heading in.
