Contemporary art exhibition by Wes Hempel presented by William Havu Gallery in the Golden Triangle Arts District.
Wes Hempel is showing at William Havu Gallery in Denver from September 18 through November 7, 2026. The gallery is at 1040 Cherokee Street, right in the Golden Triangle Arts District, and the show runs for seven weeks.
It opens with a reception on September 18, and the day after, on September 19, there's an artist talk moderated by Michael Paglia. If you're planning to go, that talk is the best time to hear Hempel speak about the work in person.
The show is presented by William Havu Gallery, which started in Aspen in 1973 and has been a voice in contemporary art for over five decades. Since 1998, it's been in its AIA award-winning postmodern building, where it stages six exhibitions a year. The gallery focuses on established mid-career artists while championing emerging regional talent, and it's built its reputation on representing artists of regional significance and national acclaim.
