Concert by the folk band TopHouse at the Ogden Theatre in Denver.
TopHouse play the Ogden Theatre on Saturday, February 20, 2027, starting at 8 PM. It's a Denver stop for the Nashville-based group, who've spent the last few years building a discography that spans full-length albums and a handful of EPs.
The band started in 2015 when Jesse Davis, a guitarist and songwriter, and William Cook, a violinist, teamed up as music majors in Montana. The lineup grew over the next several years: singer Joseph Larson joined on guitar and banjo in 2017, and pianist Andy LaFave came on board in 2022. That's the group you'll see on stage—guitar, violin, banjo, and piano all in one set.
Before they moved to Nashville in October 2019, they built a following in Missoula, where The Missoulian named them one of the city's five best new bands two years running. Once they settled in Nashville, they played the local circuit and picked up airplay on Lightning 100. When they aren't touring the U.S., they're based around the city.

Their recorded work is a fair bit larger than a single album. They've put out Middle of Somewhere, Hopes & Fears, Snapshot, The Irish EP, and Campfire Stories, along with the companion EPs Practice & Theory. With a violinist and a banjo player in the mix, the sound leans more toward the folk and acoustic side than the standard rock setup. The show is Saturday, February 20, at the Ogden Theatre, with the music starting at 8 PM.
