Country music concert by the band This Wild Life at the Marquis Theater in Denver.
This Wild Life play the Marquis Theater on Tuesday, October 20, at 7 PM. It's a single-bill night, so they're the only act on the bill.
If you're not familiar with them, they're an indie band that blends pop-punk energy with a lot of the melodic, earnest songwriting that defined the mid-2010s scene. They've spent the last decade building a following around that sound—big hooks, singing-along choruses, and lyrics that lean into the emotional side of things. It's the kind of music that works as well on a long drive as it does in a room full of people.
Since this is a headlining date, you can expect a full set that pulls from their catalog. They've put out several records over the years, and their live shows usually balance the newer material with the older songs that people have grown up with. If you've followed them from the start, you'll likely hear a good mix of both.
