The Wildwoods, a folk-Americana trio from Lincoln, Nebraska, perform their signature sound at Globe Hall.
The Wildwoods play Globe Hall on Sunday, October 18, bringing their folk-Americana sound to Denver from Lincoln, Nebraska. They're a trio fronted by Noah Gose on vocals and acoustic and electric guitar, his wife Chloe Gose on vocals and violin, and Andrew Vaggalis on vocals and upright bass. The sound blends folk, Americana, bluegrass and indie-folk, built around the vocal harmonies of the husband-and-wife duo and drawing on nature, home and life on the road.
Their fourth full-length album, Dear Meadowlark, came out on April 11, 2025. They frame it as a love letter to their home state, rooted in the comfort of returning to Nebraska after time away. The trio cites Nickel Creek, Gillian Welch, Bon Iver and Mumford & Sons as influences, and their songs "Untitled" and "Way of Train" were semi-finalists in the International Songwriting Competition. They were also finalists in the 2024 Rocky Mountain Songwriter Contest and in the 2023 FreshGrass Music Festival and VHS "Gems in the Rough" competitions.
