Group show by the Emerging Artists Residency at the Art District on Santa Fe, with an opening reception on the Third Friday.
The In Between opened at the Santa Fe Arts District on Friday, October 16, and runs through January 10, 2027. It's a class show coming out of the Emerging Artists Residency at the Art District on Santa Fe, where artists Andrea Garcia Neri, Italu Ramos Hernandez and Morgan Sirota spent three months working together. The opening reception was held on the Third Friday, from 6 PM to 9 PM.
The three artists worked from the idea of 'the in between' — a place where you're both present and away, a moment between realities. From there, they explored shapes, silhouettes and shadows, otherworldly bodies and the barriers presented by legality. It's the kind of show that gives you a look at what happens inside a residency: three people spending a few months in the same space, working around a shared prompt and seeing where it takes them.
The opening reception on the Third Friday was meant as an evening of art, conversation and community, so if you missed that, you can still catch the work on your own time. The show stays up through the end of the year and well into the new one, running until January 10.
