The Fretliners, a bluegrass quartet from Lyons, Colorado, perform live at Bluebird Theater on their 'When the Kettle Sings' tour, with special guest Wood Belly.
The Fretliners are playing the Bluebird Theater on Friday, October 23, as part of their When the Kettle Sings tour. They're a bluegrass quartet from Lyons, Colorado, and they'll be joined by special guest Wood Belly.
If you're not familiar with them, the band first came together around a single microphone in the barn of the Cloverlick banjo shopโthe moment that brought them together. From there, they spent the summer of 2023 winning both band competitions at the Telluride Bluegrass and Rockygrass Festivals, and that September they released their debut eponymous album, The Fretliners. Their sound draws on the traditional high lonesome style while exploring the peaks of Rocky Mountain original bluegrass.
