Concert by The Band of Heathens at the Bluebird Theater in Denver, featuring their blend of country and rock.
The Band of Heathens play the Bluebird Theater on Wednesday, November 4, 2026. They're an Austin, Texas group that formed in 2005 around principal songwriters Ed Jurdi and Gordy Quist. They first broke into the public consciousness in 2009 with a heartfelt blend of country and rock that earned them appearances on Austin City Limits on PBS and a spot at the Austin City Limits Festival.
Their 2011 song "Hurricane" went gold and was later certified platinum, and their album Country Sides takes a look back across their career. That's the kind of record that pulls from different eras of their work, so it's a good place to start if you're coming to them fresh.
