Live performance by the electropop duo Sylvan Esso at the historic Ogden Theatre in Denver.
Sylvan Esso play the Ogden Theatre on Friday, March 5, 2027, starting at 8 PM. The Durham, North Carolina duo is made up of Amelia Meath and Nick Sanborn, who met in a Wisconsin deli back in 2012. Since then, they've built their sound around a pretty clear division of labor: Meath writes and sings the songs, and Sanborn crafts the beats. Over the years, those roles have grown together, and their newer work tends to feel both rigorously conceptual and completely rapturous.
Their music sits in the electropop space, blending folk harmonies with electronic soundscapes. You've probably heard them through tracks like "Coffee" and "Hey Mami," and they've put out several Grammy-nominated albums, including What Now, Free Love, and No Rules Sandy. They're also known for a steady string of collaborations with other artists.
