Concert by Stephen Day, a modern crooner of soul and americana, at the Marquis Theater in Denver.
Stephen Day plays the Marquis Theater on Saturday, November 21, at 7 PM. He's a Georgia native now living in Nashville, a modern crooner who started out as a college sophomore with the 2015 EP Undergrad Romance and the Moses in Me. Since then, he's put out three more projects: the pandemic-era EP Original Songs and Sound (2020) and two full-length albums, Guess I'm Grown Now (2019) and The Shapes I'm In (2021). He's racked up more than 110 million streams across them.
His sound blends indie pop with folk-inspired melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and smooth vocals. You'll hear that in the catchy tunes and the more introspective ballads, like "If I Had a Dime" and "The Summer is Over." This August, he landed his first major motion-picture sync when his music hit theaters in Universal Pictures' Strays.
