Self-guided, all-ages immersive art experience that fuses art, technology and storytelling to explore the human condition, with a narrative mission to save Gilly's Voice.
Spookadelia: Unspoken opens at Spectra Art Space on October 2, 2026, with a VIP opening night from 6 PM to 10 PM. After that, the immersive experience stays open to standard ticket holders from October 3 through December 2026, so you've got a good window to fit it in over the fall and early winter.
It's not a traditional art show. Instead of walking through a gallery and looking at things on a wall, you're dropped into a self-guided, all-ages immersive experience that mixes art, technology and storytelling. The whole thing is built around the human condition and our relationship with self, shadow and doubt. You don't just watch it happen—you're given a narrative mission to save Gilly's Voice and banish Doubt and Shadow, collecting tokens as you go and getting special treats at the end.
Creative Director Sadie Young put this together with a following of local artists, and the series has grown into a sensory extravaganza that takes a different approach to how we experience art and haunted attractions. Because it's self-guided, you move through it at your own pace rather than following a set tour.
