Grammy-winning instrumental jazz fusion band Snarky Puppy brings their intricate compositions and dynamic live performances to The Mission Ballroom.
Snarky Puppy play The Mission Ballroom on Saturday, October 10, with KUVO presenting. If you've never caught them live, it's a good place to start: they're a Grammy-winning instrumental jazz fusion group, and the whole thing is built around intricate compositions and dynamic live performances. The music is played by a rotating cast of musicians, so the lineup on stage can shift from one show to the next.
What you'll hear is a mix of complex rhythms, soaring melodies, and improvisational brilliance. They pull from an extensive discography, so the set draws on material from across their career rather than sticking to one era. It's instrumental music, and it's jazz fusion, so there's a lot of room for the musicians to stretch out and play off each other in the moment.
