Shadowgrass

Shadowgrass play the Ogden Theatre on Saturday, October 31, starting at 8 PM. It's a bluegrass night in Denver, and the band is the only act on the bill.

If you're not already familiar with them, the critics have been pretty direct about where they fit: one calls them a "must see" for fans of the genre, another says the band "is on fire," and a third described a show as a "fantastic night." That's the kind of talk that usually points to a band that's hitting its stride live, rather than one just going through the motions.

Since they're the sole feature of the evening, the whole set is theirs. It's a straightforward bluegrass bill—no opening act to work through, just Shadowgrass taking the stage at the Ogden. If you've been following the scene, this is the one to keep on your radar for the end of October.

One thing to keep in mind before you head out: the show is 16 and over, so it's not an all-ages room. The music starts at 8 PM on Saturday, October 31, at the Ogden Theatre in Denver.
