Live performance by the Mexican electronic music duo RØZ, part of the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour and the Cervantes' Present series.
RØZ play Cervantes' Masterpiece Ballroom on Wednesday, November 4, as part of their Monster Energy Outbreak Tour. The show is presented by Cervantes' and is titled Se Está Haciendo Tarde.
Behind the name are Mexican artists and producers Manolo Cabrera and Hugo Lara. They've spent the last few years moving from digital experimentation to filling venues and playing international audiences with a sound that pulls from electronic, drum & bass, trap, reggaeton, and UKG. The two met in high school and started RØZ when they decided to leave genre rules behind; adding Spanish lyrics in 2022 marked a turning point for them. Their debut album, SE ESTÁ HACIENDO TARDE, defines that genre-bending sound.
Their backgrounds explain where the different threads come from. Manolo discovered his passion for electronic music through the world of Tomorrowland, while Hugo started his musical training as a child violinist before turning to production, influenced by artists like Skrillex. Together they've played EDC México, Baja Beach Fest, Coachella, EDC Las Vegas, and Sueños Fest, and they filled the Pabellón Oeste of Palacio de los Deportes with their Se Está Haciendo Tarde CDMX concert. This Denver date is part of the same tour.
