Lissie

Lissie plays Ophelia's Electric Soapbox on Thursday, November 5, with Chris Koza opening. It's a 21+ show, so you'll need your ID for this one.

Lissie is a singer-songwriter known for a voice that can go from a quiet, intimate rasp to a full-throated belt without losing its edge. Her songs usually sit in the folk-rock tradition, built around acoustic guitar and a strong sense of melody, and she's as much at home with a full band as she is on her own. Chris Koza opens the night, so you'll get two sets before the room clears.

Ophelia's is at 1215 20th St in Denver, right in the heart of the city. The show starts at 8 PM, with doors opening at 7 PM, so there's plenty of time to get in and find a spot before the music kicks off. If you're coming from across town, that hour between doors and the first note is a good window to grab a drink or a bite nearby.
