Concert by bluegrass and folk singer-songwriter Lindsay Lou at the Newman Center for the Performing Arts.
Lindsay Lou plays the Newman Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, November 19, 2026, at 7:30 PM. She's a Michigan-born singer and songwriter who's now based in Nashville, and her sound pulls from bluegrass roots, folk, Americana, and soulful pop. She's earned a reputation on the festival circuit for sitting in with other bands and curating all-star sets alongside her own music, and she's toured with both her folk-rock Queen of Time Band and the acoustic, harmony-driven Honey Moon Trio.
Her discography spans Ionia, which she recorded back in Michigan while touring with The Flatbellys and the supergroup Sweet Water Warblers, and later albums Southland and Queen of Time. One of her more recent projects is Bluegrass Women, a ten-song album of bluegrass classics written by women, which she also leads with an all-female band. No matter the ensemble she's working with, the music is held together by her love of traditional bluegrass and the new songs she writes from it.

If you're not familiar with her, the Bluegrass Women project is a good place to start—it's a collection of bluegrass standards penned by women, and she performs it with an all-female band. Between that and her own songwriting, the set should draw from both the traditional side of the genre and the new material she's been working on. The show is at the Newman Center for the Performing Arts, 2344 East Iliff Avenue, Denver, CO 80208, starting at 7:30 PM on Thursday, November 19.
