Julia Jacklin performs live on her North America Tour 2026 at the Gothic Theatre, showcasing her emotionally direct lyricism and commanding voice.
Julia Jacklin plays the Gothic Theatre on Saturday, October 31, as part of her North America Tour 2026. She's an Australian singer-songwriter from Sydney, known for her emotionally direct lyricism and a voice that carries a lot of weight. If you're coming to her for the first time, that's a good place to start: the songs are built around her writing and her singing, and she's earned a reputation as a formidable live performer.
She's been building her discography since her 2016 debut, Don't Let The Kids Win, and has followed it with Crushing in 2019 and PRE PLEASURE in 2022. That last one debuted at #2 on the ARIA Charts, and she's picked up two ARIA Awards along the way. Both records landed on a good number of year-end best-of lists and drew praise from Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, NME, MOJO and Uncut. She recently signed her first global record deal with 4AD, so this tour comes at a bit of a turning point in her career.
Before this, she's headlined rooms like London's Roundhouse, Melbourne's Forum and Brooklyn Steel in New York, and played festivals including Glastonbury, Primavera Sound, Austin City Limits, Pitchfork Music Festival and Laneway. On those stages, she's shared bills with Mitski, Lana Del Rey, Courtney Barnett and Faye Webster, which gives you a sense of the company she keeps.
