Stand-up comedian Jared Freid performs at the Neustadt Jewish Artists, Authors, Movies and Music Festival, showcasing contemporary Jewish arts and culture.
Jared Freid is performing at the JCC Denver on Saturday, October 10, as part of the Neustadt JAAMM Festival. The show is at the Elaine Wolf Theatre, inside the Mizel Arts and Culture Center, and it starts at 8 PM.
JAAMM stands for Jewish Artists, Authors, Movies and Music, and the festival runs throughout October. It's put together by Tim Campbell, the program director at the Mizel Arts and Culture Center, who describes it as a way to create opportunities for conversation, cultural discovery and meaningful connection within the Colorado community. The 2026 edition opens with magician and mentalist Max Davidson and closes with KlezKolorado, a weekend-long celebration of Klezmer music and Yiddish culture. Freid's set falls right in the middle of that run.
The festival's broader focus is on bold, innovative programming that looks at Jewish arts, authors, movies and music through a contemporary lens, putting new voices alongside established artists. It's meant to bring together stories that reflect the evolving Jewish experience and the artists shaping it today. The whole thing is supported by the PiΓ±on Trail Foundation and Colorado Creative Industries.
