Concert by the Swedish melodic death metal band In Flames at the Mission Ballroom in Denver.
In Flames play the Mission Ballroom on Sunday, December 13, 2026. They're the only act on the bill, so it's just them taking the stage.
If you're not familiar with the name, they're one of the bands that helped build melodic death metal. They formed in Gothenburg, Sweden, back in 1990, and have put out twelve studio albums since then. Their debut, Lunar Strain, came out in 1994, and they've released a steady stream of records in the years following, with Battles arriving in 2016. Over those three decades, they've sold millions of records and built a global following they call the Jesterheads, who go by the phrase "In Flames We Trust."
The lineup on stage will be Liam Wilson, Jon Rice, Björn Gelotte, Chris Broderick, and Anders Fridén. Gelotte and Fridén have been with the band since the early days, while Wilson, Rice, and Broderick have joined more recently to round out the current five-piece.
