A night of women-centric short ski and snowboard films with Q&A and poster signing with athletes and filmmakers.
The Girl Winter Film Tour comes to The Oriental Theater on Wednesday, October 14, for a night of women-centric short ski and snowboard films. The tour takes its name from the 'Girl Dinner' trend — a spread of different favorite snacks and treats — and the program follows that same chaotic, varied energy. Instead of one long feature, you get a mix of big-mountain skiing, storytelling, humor and human experience, all centered on women in snow sports.
The lineup for the Denver stop includes VIVID, featuring Devin Logan, Jenna Dramise, Nicole Cordingley and Sierra Schlag; Biscuits, with Erin Spong and Nat Segal; Rapid Fire, featuring Mali Noyes; Theory of Butter, with Analise Gates and Maddie Gerritsen; and Winter Elements, presented by Moonrise. Together they pull from big mountain lines, park riding and backcountry adventures from around the globe, and the tour is known for some of the most progressive riding and storytelling in the sport.

Each screening runs about two hours and is followed by a Q&A and poster signing with the athletes and filmmakers. It's the kind of night that draws a crowd of skiers, snowboarders and outdoor enthusiasts looking for inspiration and community before the winter season kicks in. The screening starts at 7 PM, with doors opening at 6 PM, at The Oriental Theater, 4335 W 44th Ave.
