Concert featuring Fly (flybassmusic) alongside Tisoki, Snuffy, Auracle and Just Neeks at the Ogden Theatre.
Fly brings his sound to the Ogden Theatre on Friday, October 30, with a full lineup of support. He's a Los Angeles artist whose work pulls from dubstep, hip hop, bass, and trap, so the night sits right in that heavy, low-end territory. He's not coming alone, either: Tisoki, Auracle, Just Neeks, and Snuffy are all on the bill, which means the bass will be running long before Fly takes the stage.
If you're not already familiar with him, Fly (who goes by flybassmusic online) is based in LA, and that West Coast bass scene—where dubstep and trap cross over into hip hop—is exactly where this fits. The support acts follow that same line, so the whole evening stays in the same sonic neighborhood rather than jumping around. It's a bass-heavy bill from start to finish.
As for the venue, the Ogden is set up with general admission standing on the main floor, so if you want to be right in the thick of it, that's where you'll be. There's also elevated balcony seating if you'd rather watch from a bit higher up. One thing to keep in mind before you head out: the venue has a bag policy—nothing larger than 12" x 12" x 6", and all bags are subject to search, so leave the oversized gear at home.
