A limited seven-week immersive pop-up market featuring Denver artists, makers, cocktails, and ritual coffee and tea experiences in a speakeasy setting.
Equivalent Exchange is running this Saturday, Oct 17, from 2 PM to midnight at Roxy on Broadway, in the downstairs speakeasy on South Broadway. It's a limited seven-week immersive pop-up, and since it's tucked away in the basement, you'll need to take the stairs to get to it.
The whole thing is Queer- and BIPOC-owned, and they've built it for both drinkers and nondrinkers. You'll find original cocktails alongside fully spirit-free versions, paired with ritual coffee and tea experiences. A rotating market of Denver artists and makers rounds out the room, so you can browse local work while you're there.
There's more to do than just grab a drink. Glowing sigil puzzles and hidden discoveries are scattered throughout the space, including a secret drink you only unlock by solving a mystery. The pop-up also programs workshops, tastings, and artist-led community events throughout its run.
