Dotsero returns to Dazzle with a blend of jazz, soul, funk and live music.
Dotsero returns to Dazzle on Saturday, October 10, for a set that runs from 6 PM to 8 PM. It's a Colorado-born contemporary jazz band led by saxophonist and frontman Steve Watts, and they've built their sound on soul, funk and groove.
They've put out more than a dozen albums over the years, and those records have taken them to some of the state's biggest stages, including Red Rocks and Winter Park, as well as out to Catalina Island. Their latest release, ORESTOD SOJOURN, is a double-album project that was years in the making, and it'll be a good place to start if you're coming to them for the first time.

This show brings them back to Dazzle, a jazz club that's been part of the Denver Performing Arts Complex for 28 years and books live music seven days a week. The club is at 1080 14th Street, in the heart of the complex. Dotsero will be led by Watts on saxophone, and the music will pull from that same soul-and-funk-inflected jazz they've been playing since the band started here in Colorado. The set runs from 6 PM to 8 PM on Saturday, October 10.
