NBA basketball match between the Denver Nuggets and the Dallas Mavericks at Ball Arena.
The Denver Nuggets take on the Dallas Mavericks at Ball Arena on Tuesday, November 24, with tip-off at 8 PM MST. It's a home game for the Nuggets, so the arena will be filled with the usual Denver crowd. The Mavericks make the trip from Texas to face them on a Tuesday night, which puts it right in the middle of the week rather than a weekend slot.
This isn't just a standard regular-season game. It's part of the Nuggets Cup Nights West, and the Nuggets are competing in Group A. That means the result carries weight beyond a single win or loss in the standings, as it counts toward their position in the group. If you've been following the league, you know the Nuggets Cup is the new way the NBA is shaking up the early part of the season, and this matchup is one of the games that'll help determine who comes out on top of the West's Group A.
On the court, it's a clash between two of the league's biggest names. The Nuggets bring their high-altitude home-court advantage to Ball Arena, while the Mavericks bring their offensive firepower from Dallas. It's a matchup that's usually decided by how the two teams match up in the paint and who can control the tempo. With the game falling on a Tuesday, it's a mid-week stop in the Nuggets' schedule, and for the Mavericks, it's a trip to the Mile High City.
