A surprise late-night stand-up comedy showcase with an undisclosed lineup of touring comics and free pizza.
Denver Comedy Underground is running a Secret Show on Friday, October 9, from 7:30 to 9:45 PM. The whole point is the surprise: the lineup stays undisclosed until the night, with touring comics taking the stage. It's one of those shows where you go in not knowing who's going to walk out, which is half the draw.
If you haven't spent much time there, the club is an intimate underground room that bills itself as the best comedy spot in Denver. It's built around a few things that make it easy to drop into: free pizza, no drink minimums, and no tourist-trap pricing. The room usually hosts headliners and rising stars from Netflix, Comedy Central and late-night TV, alongside its own homegrown fixtures. There's Uncalled Four, the interactive game show that The Denver Post called "Denver's most gleefully offensive stand-up showcase"; Fck, Marry, Kill, the local-dates show; and Nerd Roast, the horror-themed night. They've even opened the stage to new theatre. Westword* described the venue as "a homegrown comedy success story."

The club has moved to a brand-new downtown home at 675 22nd St, with a large parking lot next door and plenty of street parking nearby. Tickets are $20 plus a $5 service fee, so $25 all in. The show runs from 7:30 to 9:45 PM on Friday, October 9.
