Authentic German-style holiday market with local and European craft and food vendors and entertainment.
The Denver Christkindlmarket returns on November 20, this time at the Auraria Campus — Tivoli Quad (1000 Larimer St). It's an authentic German-style holiday market, the kind that brings together local and European craft and food vendors with live entertainment. This year is a big one: 2026 marks the market's 25th anniversary, and it's also moving to a new home on the Auraria Campus. The organizers are leaning into that milestone with anniversary activations, including a carousel and glass-ornament workshops.
True to the spirit of German holiday markets, it's free and open to all, an all-ages, family-friendly event. There are 'Family Sundays' devoted to children, a live music dance floor, and scheduled visits from the Christkind—the market's namesake—and St. Nikolaus. The whole thing is run by volunteers, whom the organizers call their 'little elves,' with support from sponsors like Bank of America. And yes, dogs are welcome as long as they're on a leash.
