Denver BAZAAR

Denver BAZAAR returns to Larimer Square on Saturday, October 17, from 3 to 8 PM. It's one of the market's regular stops—the BAZAAR runs every third Saturday here from June through October, with string lights overhead and the square's restaurants and patios open before, during, and after.

If you've never been, here's the basic setup: the BAZAAR brings together up to 80 Colorado makers under one roof—or in this case, one square. You'll find jewelry, ceramics, candles, apparel, art prints, food, and pet goods. It's a good place to pick up something handmade from someone actually living in the state, and the variety is wide enough that you can spend an hour just browsing without needing to buy a thing.

There's a bit of history behind it, too. The BAZAAR started in the RiNo Art District in 2015 and now moves to a different neighborhood every Saturday. Since then, it's generated up to $20 million in sales for Colorado small businesses, with more than 5,000 small businesses selling there—around 75% of them women- or minority-owned. They describe it as "the hip, not-your-grandmother's craft fair," and it's not just about the booths: there are food trucks, warming stations, and s'mores to keep you going while you wander. Larimer Square is one of its most consistent spots, and this October date is one of the last of the season.

Once the summer and early fall run wraps up, the BAZAAR shifts into the Holiday BAZAAR, which runs through December across the city at Cherry Creek, Belleview Station, Sloan's Lake, LoHi, and Littleton.
