Demon Hunter performs their Storm The Gates of Hell 20th Anniversary tour at The Oriental Theater, with Wolves At The Gate and Bloodlines.
Demon Hunter are playing the Oriental Theater on Sunday, October 25, as part of their Storm The Gates of Hell 20th Anniversary tour. They're bringing along Wolves At The Gate and Bloodlines to round out the bill, so it's a full night of metal rather than just a single act. The show starts at 7:30 PM.
Demon Hunter formed in Seattle back in 2002, and they describe their sound as a blend of transcendent melody and metallic might. This tour marks two decades since Storm The Gates of Hell came out, so the set is built around that record. If you've followed them for a while, you'll recognize the songs that have stuck around: "I Am A Stone," "On My Side," "The Last One Alive," "I Will Fail You," "Collapsing," and "Dead Flowers." Those are the ones that have marked chapters of people's lives, from weddings to funerals, and they're the kind of tracks that usually anchor a show like this.
On stage, the lineup is Ryan Clark on vocals, Patrick Judge on lead guitar, Jonathan Dunn on bass, Jeremiah Scott on rhythm guitar, and Yogi Watts on drums. They're also coming off a new release, EXILE, which is the first record from their newly formed label, Weapons MFG.
