A professional box lacrosse match between the Colorado Mammoth and the Rochester Knighthawks at Ball Arena.
The Colorado Mammoth take on the Rochester Knighthawks at Ball Arena on Saturday, January 9, 2027. It's a National Lacrosse League matchup that brings the Knighthawks into Denver for a single game, so if you've been wanting to see the Mammoth play at home, this is one of the dates to keep on your radar.
For those who aren't as familiar with the sport, professional indoor lacrosse is a fast game played on a turf field inside an arena, with a smaller goal and a lot of physical play. The Mammoth are Denver's team, and Ball Arena is their home turf, so you'll find the local crowd showing up to back them. The Knighthawks are coming in from Rochester, New York, making this a cross-country clash rather than a regional rivalry.
It's a Saturday night game, which makes it an easy one to build a whole evening around. You've got the game itself, and since it's at Ball Arena, you're right in the middle of the city with plenty of spots nearby to grab a drink or a meal before and after. If you're coming from outside the immediate area, the venue is easy to get to and plenty familiar.
