Concert by singer-songwriter Carsie Blanton at the Federal Theatre, featuring her blend of pop and jazz-infused songwriting.
Carsie Blanton plays the Federal Theatre on Thursday, May 13, 2027, at 7 PM. The evening is presented by the theatre itself, and she's the sole name on the bill.
Blanton is a singer-songwriter who blends pop and jazz into her writing, and she's known for witty lyrics, catchy melodies and an engaging stage presence. Her live shows usually mix upbeat numbers with more reflective tunes, and she draws on material from her latest releases. If you've kept up with her recent work, that's where a good part of the set will come from.
That pop-jazz mix is a good way to describe the sound, but the lyrics are where she really leans in. The wit is a big part of the draw, and the way she carries herself on stage is as much a part of the experience as the songs themselves. Between the faster songs and the quieter ones, there's a fair bit of room for her to talk to the crowd and let the songs breathe.
