Canadian country singer-songwriter Cameron Whitcomb performs live at Ball Arena, supporting Niall Horan.
Cameron Whitcomb plays Ball Arena on Sunday, May 16, 2027, opening for Niall Horan. He's a 21-year-old singer-songwriter from Nanaimo, British Columbia, and this is a big step up in venue size for him.
His path to the stage is a bit of a story. He left home at 17, worked on a pipeline, and posted covers on Reddit until an American Idol executive heard his voice. He went on to become a top 20 finalist on the show's 20th season. In the spring of 2024, he released "Rocking Chair," which racked up over 40 million combined social views, and followed it with two tours: the sold-out Quitter Tour and the Hundred Mile High Tour.
Much of what he's playing comes from his 2024 Quitter EP, a boldly autobiographical collection partly inspired by his journey through addiction. The title track and the single "Medusa" both landed on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100, along with "Hundred Mile High." He's been described as one of the most captivating new songwriters of his generation, known for drawing on the candid details of his own life.
