8 Graves

8 Graves play the Marquis Theater on Wednesday, October 14, with The Haunt and Platinum Moon opening. The New York City duo is fronted by Brent Carpentier and Nick Goncalves, and they've built their following on emotionally impactful songs and a strong message, working almost entirely without the support of the music industry machine. They describe themselves as playing by their own rules and rejecting the flash-over-substance culture of today's music scene, connecting with their supporters directly through social media.

Their sound sits at the crossroads of alternative, electronic, and alternative rock, so the set should pull from a few different directions. With The Haunt and Platinum Moon filling out the bill, the night will be a full run of three acts rather than just a single headliner. The Marquis is at 2009 Larimer St in Denver.

Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the show starts at 7:30 PM.
