National conference and exhibition for housing and community development providers organized by NAHRO, featuring professional development and vendor services.
NAHRO is bringing its national conference and exhibition to the Colorado Convention Center from October 15 to 17, 2026. It's a three-day gathering for housing and community development providers, and it's coming to Denver from the national organization that puts it on.
If you aren't familiar with the name, NAHRO has been around since 1933. It's a membership organization with more than 26,000 housing and community development providers and professionals across the United States. Its members create and manage affordable housing for low- and middle-income families, and the scale of what they do is pretty hard to wrap your head around: they administer more than 3 million homes for more than 8 million people. That includes nearly 900,000 units of public housing, more than 1.6 million units of tenant-based Section 8 housing, and nearly 400,000 units of other assisted housing.
NAHRO describes its mission as advancing strong, sustainable, and affordable communities through advocacy, professional development, and member empowerment. That's the context the conference sits in. The event itself is expected to draw around 1,500 attendees, and the exhibition brings together vendors offering a wide range of services and products for the housing and community development field.
