Gorillaz are bringing The Mountain Tour to Denver next week, and it's the kind of show that fills a room as big as Ball Arena. The virtual band lands at 1000 Chopper Circle on Sunday, October 18, with doors opening for a 7:00 PM start. It's their first real North American tour since 2022, and the Denver date sits right in the middle of a 22-arena run that's been working its way across the continent since mid-September.

The tour is built around The Mountain, their ninth album, which came out on February 27 through KONG. That record is where the new material comes from, and the setlist leans on it heavily, with tracks featuring Dennis Hopper and Asha Bhosle alongside collaborations with Black Thought, IDLES, and Johnny Marr. But it's not all new stuff. The band has a habit of mixing in the hits that everyone actually knows, so expect Clint Eastwood, Feel Good Inc., Dirty Harry, DARE, Stylo, On Melancholy Hill, Empire Ants, and Rhinestone Eyes to make an appearance. The whole thing is estimated to run somewhere between two and two and a half hours.
Gorillaz isn't a solo act on the bill, either. Deltron 3030, the hip-hop supergroup made up of Dan the Automator, Del the Funky Homosapien, and Kid Koala, is opening every single arena date. Little Simz, the British rapper born Simbiatu Abisola Abiola Ajikawo, is on the bill for most of the tour, including Denver. She's released six studio albums, the most recent being Lotus, which came out on June 6, 2025. Between the two openers and the main event, the evening is shaping up to be a long one.
If you're still hunting for tickets, here's the state of play. General sales opened way back on March 9 through gorillaz.com/tour and livenation.com, and the primary channels are mostly tapped out. That leaves the secondary market, where Ball Arena tickets are currently listed around $230. You can find them on Ticketmaster, StubHub, Vivid Seats, SeatGeek, and TicketNetwork, so it's worth shopping around before you pull the trigger. A couple of discount codes are floating around if you're buying through those sites: COS20 takes $20 off on Vivid Seats, and Rolling Stone has a set of codes — RS30, RS150, and RS300 — that can shave some money off depending on where you're looking.
For anyone who needs the backstory, Gorillaz is the virtual British band Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett put together in 1998. Albarn, born March 23, 1968, is the frontman of Blur and was named an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in the 2016 New Year Honours. Hewlett, born April 3, 1968, is the artist behind the band and the creator of the comic Tank Girl. The two have been running this project for more than two decades, and The Mountain Tour is the latest chapter. With the show only a week away, now's the time to sort your tickets and plan your night.
