Trish Suhr

Trish Suhr is playing the Dallas Comedy Club on Saturday, October 10, with the show running on the Mainstage Theater. She's an Emmy Award-winning comedian, actress, and TV personality, and if you've never seen her, the best place to start is where she comes from: Kentucky. Her family was in the funeral business, and she says that explains both her timing and her comfort with uncomfortable situations.

That Southern root is a big part of the act. She describes her style as a Southern-style comedy experience with a Cali twist, and the two sides of her life are pretty easy to see. She's a southern belle turned California comedian, originally from the Appalachian mountains, and she's built a career around that bridge between the two. You might recognize her as the 'Yard Sale Diva' from more than 300 episodes of Style Network's Clean House, or from guest spots on NBC's The Office and Reno 911!. She also voiced a character in Grand Theft Auto V and ran the 'Daily Draw' on Game Show Network. These days, she produces and hosts Find My Country House on A&E and Hulu.

She's sold out stages across the country and has over 890,000 followers on social media. She's also performed on Nate Bargatze's Nateland Presents the Showcase, and two of her specials—Dolly For President on YouTube and her Dry Bar Comedy special—are streaming if you want to get a feel for her set before she hits Dallas. The show is for ages 18 and up.
