A macabre stand-up night where some of Dallas' best comics explore their darkest material, hosted by Pete Jung.
The Dark Nights is coming to the Dallas Comedy Club on Saturday, November 21, for a night of stand-up that doesn't pull any punches. Pete Jung is hosting, and the premise is exactly what the title suggests: a macabre evening where death and suffering are the punchline. The club bills it as some of Dallas' best comics digging deep into the lightless pit of their souls for their darkest material, so if you're in the mood for comedy that leans into the bleak side of things, this is the one.
The show takes place in the Club Theater, one of the two theaters inside the Dallas Comedy Club complex at 3036 Elm Street in Deep Ellum. It's a 21-and-up show, so keep that in mind before you head out. The venue itself is a 9,600-square-foot multi-use space in the heart of the district, known as a hub for the performing arts with a vibrant nightlife. Along with the two theaters, it houses two breakout rooms, a spacious outdoor patio with covered seating, a semi-private Garage Stage, and a full kitchen with an extensive food and beverage menu.

Doors open at 9:45 PM, and the show starts at 10:00 PM. If you're planning to eat or grab drinks first, you'll have plenty of time to settle in before the first comic takes the stage. It's a late-night slot in Deep Ellum, so you're right in the middle of the neighborhood's nightlife if you want to keep the evening going afterward.
