The Brown Out: Stand-up Show

The Brown Out is back at the Dallas Comedy Club on Thursday, November 19, with a lineup of stand-up comics from around the world. The show is hosted by Sri Raj, who keeps the night moving as a rotation of comics take the stage. It's billed as DFW's premier Brown stand-up talent showcase, and the premise is exactly that: bringing together comics from different backgrounds and countries for a single night of stand-up.

Because the comics come from all over, the set is a mix of voices rather than a single act. You'll hear people from different places sharing the same stage, each bringing their own perspective to the mic. The show is presented by the Dallas Comedy Club, and it's for audiences 18 and over.

It's taking place at the club's Mainstage Theater, located at 3036 Elm Street in Dallas. Doors open at 8:15 PM, and the show starts at 8:30 PM, so you've got a little time to get settled before the first comic goes on. Tickets are $20.68.
