Alternative rock band Spoon perform live at the Longhorn Ballroom in Dallas, kicking off their Texas tour.
Spoon play the Longhorn Ballroom on Tuesday, December 29, 2026, the first of three Texas dates in a row. They'll be in San Antonio the next night, December 30, and in Austin on New Year's Eve.
Spoon is a Texas band with a career stretching back more than thirty years, built around Britt Daniel and Jim Eno. Their catalog runs from the clipped urgency of A Series of Sneaks and Kill the Moonlight through Gimme Fiction, Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga, They Want My Soul, and 2022's Lucifer on the Sofa. A few songs have outlasted the albums they came from: "The Way We Get By," "I Turn My Camera On," "The Underdog," "Inside Out," and "Do You."
They've been back in the studio since then. "Chateau Blues" and "Guess I'm Fallin In Love" arrived in 2025, and road-tested live versions of those songs came out this February, issued without a full campaign in the most Spoon-like way possible. The Dallas date is the first of that three-night Texas run, with San Antonio on December 30 and Austin on New Year's Eve.
