A casual happy hour meets open-play volleyball social with food trucks in Downtown Dallas.
Dallas Sport & Social Club is hosting the Spike & Sip Social at Klyde Warren Park on Friday, October 9, from 6 PM to 8 PM. It's an open-play volleyball session, which means you don't need to bring a team with you—you just RSVP to play and jump in when you arrive. The games run throughout the evening, so you can hop on and off the court as you please.
They've set it up as a happy hour that happens to have volleyball, and the food trucks in the park are a big part of that. Between games, you can grab a drink and a snack from one of the trucks and take in the downtown energy. It's designed to be casual: play a few sets, hang out, and come back to the court when you're ready for more. Beyond the volleyball, they pitch it as a place to network and mingle with the city's social crowd, so it works as much for meeting new people as it does for getting some game in.
