Shakespeare Dallas reimagines Titus Andronicus as glamorous Club Titus, directed by Dr. Danielle Georgiou, as part of their 2026 Shakespeare in the Park season.
Shakespeare Dallas brings Titus Andronicus to the Samuell-Grand Amphitheater on Thursday, October 8, as part of their 2026 Shakespeare in the Park season. It's a reimagining of the play as Club Titus, a glamorous take on one of Shakespeare's bloodiest tragedies, directed by Dr. Danielle Georgiou.
If you're not familiar with the play, Titus Andronicus is the one that earns its reputation for violence. It's a story of revenge and betrayal that doesn't hold back, and seeing it set as a glamorous club should put a different spin on the whole thing. The production is part of Shakespeare Dallas's 54th season, which they've billed as 54 years of producing affordable family entertainment for North Texas audiences.
This is one of several shows in their 2026 Shakespeare in the Park run, which also includes The Merry Wives of Windsor and Alice in Wonderland. The season runs through the summer, so if you're in the mood for more than one night of outdoor theater, there are a few other titles to choose from.
